Bitgold Next
Bitgold Next is a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 1 built for latency-sensitive on-chain activity: sub-second finality, native account abstraction, transaction pre-confirmation, Multi-Lane reserved capacity, an on-chain shielded (privacy) pool, and quantum-resistant state commitments.
Quantum-resistant stateStatus
Bitgold Next is currently in devnet. The network is under active development and subject to breaking changes. There is no public testnet or mainnet endpoint yet.
Quantum-resistant by design
Bitgold Next commits world state with a lattice-hash (LtHash) accumulator built from BLAKE3, not a Merkle-Patricia trie. The commitment is hash-based and uses no elliptic-curve pairings or pre-quantum proof structures, so it is designed to remain secure against quantum computing attacks. Quantum resistance here covers state integrity; account authorization on the current devnet still uses secp256k1 signatures, with a post-quantum authorization scheme reserved as a protocol extension.
What Bitgold Next is and how it is built
Run a local devnet and connect over JSON-RPC
Parlia PoSA with BLS fast finality
Batched calls, session keys, and sponsored gas, with no bundler required
Sub-second, best-effort inclusion signals ahead of finality
Reserved gas capacity for latency-sensitive transaction classes
Native, opt-in private transfers via zk proofs
Hash-based lattice (LtHash) commitments, with no Merkle-Patricia trie underneath
On-chain, token-weighted parameter and validator-set governance
